“a fae, singing in the forest, luna lullabies, cycling in time with the rhythms of the earth, her sound is ever becoming & changing, fusing culture and spirit“

Fern's sound and compositions are dreamy and ethereal, with self-written lyrics grounded in poetic contemplation on living and being with the earth.
Throughout a nomadic existence, music has been the universal language connecting her wherever she goes. She was born in Australia but walks in the footsteps of her Slovakian father, who, too, was a travelling musician.
Fern has spent most of her adult life in the East, especially in India, and her music is greatly influenced by living and learning through different cultures, and folks and by her connection to earth and the ethereal.
Along with her own compositions, she values collaboration with other artists. Previous collaborations include:
Levana: a 7 piece singing sisterhood who met in the Himalayan mountains. There is Still Time: a song and music film production with themes of eco-feminism and returning to the earth. La Luna: a collaborative film and spoken word musical poetry piece of women formed in the deserts of Rajasthan. Calling the Moon: a song and music video co-written with Tamara Kazziha, about remembering our wild nature and intuitive power.

Fern has and continues to share her sound all around the world, from street corners, to festivals, trains, mountain tops and cosy cafes.
